Fair Housing Policy

Anderson Associates fully supports the principles of the Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968), as amended, and the Connecticut Fair Housing laws (Con General Statutes 45a-64c) which prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing because of:

  • race or color
  • national origin
  • ancestry
  • creed (religion)
  • sex (gender)
  • family status (families with children under the age of 18 living the parents or legal custodians and pregnant women)
  • disability (physical, mental or learning)
  • marital status
  • age (except minors)
  • sexual orientation
  • gender identity or expression
  • lawful source of income (income derived from social security, SSI, housing assistance such as Section 8, child support, alimony,
    public or general assistance)
  • veteran status
